Organ Spectacular! Sunday, October 19 @ 3 PM A movable feast of organ favorites, performed by Margaret Evans and Thomas Harmon. We’ll begin at St. Mark’s and halfway through the program move to First Presbyterian Church, Medford.
Evensong Sunday, November 16 @ 3 PM ...with Canticles by Vaughan Williams and an anthem by Ferguson, sung by the Chancel Choir.
A Violin Recital Larry Stubson, violin & Cynthia Darbey, piano Friday, November 21 @ 7:30 PM The program includes sonatas by Mozart, Debussy and Franck as well as the Havanaise by Saint-Saens.
Taizé Service for Advent Sunday, December 7 @ 7:30 PM
A Service of Advent Lessons & Carols with the St. Mark's Choirs Sunday, December 14 @ 3 PM conducted by Dr. Margaret R. Evans. Our traditional service of Advent readings includes choir carols, and congregational hymns reflecting on the meaning of Advent and the coming birth of Christ.
Kirsten Boldt, Bassoon and friends Sunday, December 28 @ 7:30 PM The seventh annual concert by Ms. Boldt will include several guest artists performing music for bassoon plus other instruments.
Concert for New Year's Eve Wednesday, December 31 @ 7 PM Night Prayer Service for the New Year Wednesday, December 31 @ 9 PM This concert features musicians from the Rogue Valley and beyond, including Kirsten Boldt, Laurie Hunter, Christian Mathisen, Barbara Evans O'Donnell, Martin Prelle-Tworek and Margaret R. Evans, presenting various styles of music for a variety of instruments. We'll have a gala reception following the concert, and then have the Service of Night Prayer for the New Year from the New Zealand Prayer Book.
Richard Fuller, fortepiano Sunday, January 25 @ 3 PM Our friend from Vienna returns to present a recital commemorating the 200th anniversary of the death of Haydn.
Worcester Cathedral Choir conducted by Adrian Lucas Friday, April 3 @ 8 PM This English Choir will present music in the best English choral tradition.
Taizé Service for Palm Sunday Sunday, April 5 @ 8 PM
Fong-Rands-Stubson Trio Sunday, May 17 @ 3 PM ...presenting chamber music for violin, cello and piano performing trios by Franz J. Haydn, F. Chopin and G. Fauré.
Taizé Services These are quiet services of meditation, reflection, readings, silence, prayer, candlelight and musical chants from the Taizé tradition, focusing on themes of each season.

The Music Program
...the Chancel Choir The choir consists of high school and adult singers who rehearse Thursday evenings from 7:30 until 9 pm. This Choir sings at the 10:45 am Sunday service and presents music for several special services and events throughout the year.
...the Handbell Ensemble A group for advanced bell ringers who prepare music played by a trio or quartet of ringers. This group rehearses and presents music occasionally.
...the Taizé Choir This Choir leads the singing for our Taizé services and rehearses 45 minutes before the Taizé service begins. This group is open to anyone who likes to sing.
...the Taizé Instrumentalists Instrumentalists are invited to join in leading the music for our Taizé services. Please contact Peggy Evans for more information.
