Buildings and Grounds Update
Our church facelift begins this week! Highlights of what is in store:
- Ceiling dark trusses will remain, spaces in between painted to lighten and brighten our worship
- Walls paneling above the side windows removed, all walls painted to further lighten and brighten
- Pews scratches sanded out of the seats followed by modest refinishing
- Floors wood floors sanded and refinished, new carpeting
- Lighting all new switches/dimmers (that work!), LED bulbs for crisper light and energy efficiency, and exterior illumination of the rose window for nighttime services!
- Narthex no structural changes, but the narthex will become brighter, “larger” and more welcoming!
As was mentioned last week, it is good to leave much of this work to professionals, but there is work that each of us can contribute.
Please plan to come back to church at 2:00 this afternoon to help transform the parish hall into a worship space and prepare the church for its “facelift”! MANY HANDS MAKE LIGHT WORK!

Piano will be moved and the organ protected.

Pews will be moved out for refinishing.
