Eucharist in the Park

and Parish Picnic

On occasion, St. Mark's holds worship and Eucharist in God's great cathedral, the great outdoors.  This year our park service was held at Fichtner-Mainwaring park in south Medford on August 26th at 10:30 AM.  The weather for the day was perfect, cool and overcast in the morning, with the clouds burning off by picnic time to reveal a glorious clear blue sky with temperatures just warn enough to allow water play for the brave!  The event was well attended, and there was food enough for all, including a few visitors from the park who decided to join in.  The winner of the dessert contest was a chocolate peanut butter pie (no calories there!) brought by the McDougall's.
