2nd Annual Neighborhood BBQ

The 2nd Annual Neighborhood BBQ was held June 10, 2006. Our theme this year was Family Health and Safety and with the great presentations by St Marks Health and Healing Commission, The Community Health Center, La Clinica Del Valle, Jackson County Health Department, West Medford Community Coalition, Medford Police Department and The Medford Fire Department the event proved to be fun and informative. St Mark’s youth entertained the children with games, face painting and balloons and the Outreach Commission provided a great mid day meal with barbequed hamburgers and hot dogs with all the trimmings. Great fun for everyone. It is amazing how doing God’s work can turn a dusty parking lot into a place of Joy, Fellowship and Love.
